Feature: Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

Cuddle With Cameron!

Making her debut after the launch of her latest film, What Happens in Vegas, Hollywood’s leading lady has officially landed at the world-famous Madame Tussauds Las Vegas! “Cameron Diaz,” the bright blue eyed beauty with the mile-wide smile who held her own alongside Julia Roberts as the not-so-naïve bride-to-be in My Best Friend’s Wedding, has become the new wax figure attraction where visitors are encouraged to perch in a director’s chair at “Cameron’s” side.

Since her eye-popping (literally, in the case of Jim Carrey!) debut in The Mask, Cameron Diaz has become the blonde to watch in Hollywood. Since The Mask, Cameron has played many diverse roles in a number of big screen ventures. From dumping her husband for brother-in-law Keanu Reeves in Feeling Minnesota and playing in the raunchy comedy There’s something about Mary to being the voice of Princess Fiona in all three Shrek movies as well as her starring role in the Charlie’s Angels movies, her admirable work has paid off as she is now one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.

Want the chance to sit next to “her” or at least make others believe you did? Then visit Madame Tussauds, where viewers are provided with a guest-star experience and photo opportunity all their own. While the worldwide attraction has prided themselves on their interactive nature for more than 200 years by encouraging people to take pictures, mingle and even touch the incredibly lifelike wax figures, it has now been taken to a whole new level. Not only are the amazingly lifelike wax figures still an integral part of the attraction, but guests are the new stars!

Inviting visitors to “Grab Hold of Their Favorite Cele-brities,” Madame Tussauds places visitors in the starring role of numerous interactive experiences, ranging from going one-on-one with “Shaq” to marrying the country’s most unattainable bachelor, “George Clooney,” in “Marry Clooney.” The attraction immerses visitors in a number of sensational, one-of-a-kind dynamic experiences that create personal memories with some of the world’s biggest icons. Whether it’s golfing with “Tiger Woods” or sitting front and center for one last concert with “The King,” Madame Tussauds has something for everyone.

The 30,000 square foot attraction covers two separate floors and features eight, distinctly themed areas such as a hot, Hollywood party with guests including “Brad Pitt” and “Angelina Jolie” to a trip down memory lane to the swank days of Old Vegas. On the way, slip into some silk pajamas and join “Hugh Hefner” on his famous round bed, or experience what it’s like to be a rock-star in the On-Stage room. Take a behind-the-scenes look to see how things are done, or be put in the moments that shaped America from walking on the moon to the events of September 11.

Known as the hottest, interactive celebrity attraction on the Las Vegas Strip and located in the midst of the excitement and glamour at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Madame Tussauds currently has locations in Las Vegas, New York, London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Shanghai with plans for more underway.
